Breast Reduction Journey: More Than Physical Healing

Breast reduction recovery doesn’t just ask your body to rest — it asks your heart to receive. When you’re used to handling everything on your own, it can feel uncomfortable to need help, even from someone who loves you deeply. But that moment of receiving support becomes part of the healing itself.

This post is part of my From the Vault series — revisiting the earliest pieces of my breast reduction journey and sharing them again for anyone who may have missed them. These reflections still matter because healing is never just physical. It’s emotional, relational, and deeply human.

If you’d rather listen to this reflection, you can press play below and let the story meet you wherever you are.

Hi, I'm Shelley Beyer.

I’ve been through breast reduction surgery myself, and I’m here to support other women on that same path—before surgery, after surgery, and in the everyday healing that comes after.

I believe in reducing inflammation through a carnivore way of eating, preparing the body with intention, and creating space for the emotional, physical, and spiritual recovery this journey invites.

If you're navigating your own transformation, I’m so glad you're here.
