After Breast Reduction: My Skin Healing Routine

After breast reduction surgery, most of us expect scars — but few of us are prepared for what they mean or how to care for them in a way that feels nurturing instead of fearful.

In this reflection, I share what truly supported my healing from the inside out: how simple nutrition, gentle supplements, and emotional self-talk helped my scars fade cleanly and beautifully. Beyond skincare, this episode is an invitation to see your healing body through softer eyes — with patience, gratitude, and reverence.

This post is part of my From the Vault series — revisiting the earliest pieces of my breast reduction journey and sharing them again for anyone who may have missed them.

Hi, I'm Shelley Beyer.

I’ve been through breast reduction surgery myself, and I’m here to support other women on that same path—before surgery, after surgery, and in the everyday healing that comes after.

I believe in reducing inflammation through a carnivore way of eating, preparing the body with intention, and creating space for the emotional, physical, and spiritual recovery this journey invites.

If you're navigating your own transformation, I’m so glad you're here.
